It’s now a few years since we visited Japan. We visited many times and lived there for a while. These short blog posts capture some of the things that we found interesting. Hopefully we’ll go back soon.
We visited Nikko in the winter. The snow makes everything (the bridges, rivers and temples) look beautiful. It’s an easy journey from Tokyo on the train, with an express for the first part then a local train. Having a Japan Rail pass makes travel easy. Buy it in your country before you go.
The famous 3 monkeys can be seen on the side of a temple.
